R.I.James' President, Rhoda
Isaacs, has been a long-time advocate for the logistics profession. Under
her leadership, the company has served the industry through these, and other
appointed positions:
- North
American Representative of international consortium of transportation
and logistics recruiting firms established to meet the global demand
for skilled talent within our profession.
- Keynote
speaker and program developer for numerous national and international
conferences on topics including, Human Resources Training Within Logistics
Organizations, Strategic Career Management, Changing Professional Development
in Logistics and Supply Chain Workforce Issues.
- Executive
Committee member for the Council of Logistics Management, Chair of the
Professional Development and Distinguished Service Award Committees,
member of the Education Strategies Committee. Prior appointee to National
Roundtable Advisory Committee and President of the New York City Roundtable.
- Member
of the New York City Board of Education Advisory Council on Business
Education, Warehouse Education Research Council and the American Institute
of Industrial Engineers
- Special
Recognition: Establishment of the Rhoda Isaacs Scholarship Fund for
high school students in NYC, where Isaacs was a motivating force in
establishing the first Business Logistics Curriculum at the high school
level
